Eros School in Athlone were Bowled Over by Donation

Eros School in Athlone were Bowled Over by Donation Pupils at Eros School in Athlone were bowled over by a table cricket donation yesterday. The Lord’s Taverners, the UK’s leading youth cricket and disability sports charity, surprised pupils at the school with their new sporting activity.  Principal Samuel Julius was beaming after the handover.  “When I came here and saw what was happening and how excited the pupils were, it was amazing. Agape Primary School Feedback   Dear David and Ian Our sessions at Agape School have gone really well and the players and teachers are now really grasping and understanding how the game is played. It’s been wonderful each week to see the excitement in the players faces when it’s time to begin, there are always enthusiastic hands being raised to be ‘captain’ and the tactics of whether to bat or field first is an animated discussion. Cape Town Trip

Cape Town Trip David Ralph visited Cape Town at the end of March to present the Table Cricket concept to schools for the disabled. Many of the schools were extremely excited about the project of introducing competitive sport amongst their learners and the first game will be donated at the end of April. Schools visited included: Axios School of Skills, Tembalethu School, Iris House, Friends Day Centre, Vista Nova School, Astra School, Agape School, Paarl Skool and Westcliff Spesiale Skool.

Table Cricket Durban Launch
